Grant M.Phil Allowance to MS Degree Holders and Equivalent Federal

As per the Notification, the undersigned is directed to refer to Finance Division’s O.M. No. F.3(6)Imp/2024, dated 24-11-2025, and to state that the benefit of M. Phil Allowance, admissible under Finance Division’s O.M. No. F.3(6)Imp/2016-336, dated 01-07-2016, at the rate of 25% of the existing Ph.D. Allowance (i.e. Rs. 2,500/- per month), subject to the prescribed conditions, may also be extended to those who acquire or possess an equivalent degree recognized by the Higher Education Commission (H.E.C.), with effect from 17-07-2026, subject to the production of an equivalence certificate.
